Buttons Nursery Schools are registered with the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) which regulates childcare in the United Kingdom. Ofsted carry out periodic inspections of nursery schools to check on the quality of childcare and education being delivered. Buttons has always received favourable reports. Investor In People
Buttons originally qualified as an Investor in People Organisation in October 2005 and re-qualified in January 2009. It was recognised that Buttons continues to provide a comprehensive personal and professional development programme for its staff team which directly impacts on the quality of childcare and education it delivers.Pre-school Learning Alliance (PSLA)
Buttons Nursery Schools are registered with the PSLA which supports the settings through visits to assist the nurseries meet the welfare requirements of the curriculum.MHL Support
Buttons employs a specialist company, MHL Support, to ensure it discharges all it's contractual employment responsibilities correctly and fairly. MHL Support also ensure that the staff team are covered by the latest employment law legislation. They also carry out Health & Safety audits annually to ensure the nursery premises are compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation.
Awards
In 2008 Buttons Day Nursery Schools reached the finals in 3 categories of the Nursery Management Today (NMT) Awards, the most prestigious in the nursery sector. The 3 categories were: Operations Manager, Nursery Nurse and Lifetime Achievement Award.
