Ofsted Highlights
'Good with Outstanding Elements'
Following the excellent Ofsted Inspection Reports for Buttons Hampton, February 2010 and Buttons Hanwell, August 2011, it has been an incredibly successful start to 2012 for Buttons Day Nursery Teddington. The nursery had an unannounced OFSTED inspection on the 9th January 2012, its first inspection since opening. We are extremely proud that were judged to be a 'Good' nursery with Outstanding elements. The nursery achieved 'Outstanding' in 'Effectiveness of Safeguarding Children', 'Effectiveness of Leadership and Management in Embedding Ambition and Driving Improvement' and 'The Effectiveness with which the setting Deploys Resources'. The Inspector advised that an overall 'Good' outcome, with Outstanding elements, was the highest grade that could be awarded to a new nursery especially after only being open for five months. The Inspector also commented that in the future she could see a majority of the 'Good' outcomes changing to Outstanding. The Team were ecstatic with the judgement.
